The Opportunity

As a Kitchen Designer & Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering both aesthetic and functional kitchen solutions while contributing to the company’s sales and growth objectives. This dual-focused role combines design expertise with client engagement, allowing you to build lasting relationships while driving business expansion.

Compensation: Competitive base salary with performance-based commission.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Conduct consultations with homeowners, designers, and builders to assess their kitchen requirements, preferences, and budget.
• Design Development: Utilize advanced design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 2020 Design) to create custom layouts for cabinetry, countertops, and other stone surfaces.
• Material Selection Guidance: Provide expert recommendations on high-quality materials sourced from our extensive inventory.
• Sales Growth: Build strong, lasting relationships with builders, interior designers, contractors, and homeowners, actively identifying opportunities to close deals and meet sales targets.
• Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient coordination between design, fabrication, and installation teams.
• Trend Awareness: Stay informed on the latest kitchen design trends, materials, and finishes to inspire and guide clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the fabrication and installation teams to ensure design accuracy and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

We seek a creative and results-driven individual with the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in kitchen design or a sales-driven interior design role.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 2020 Design).
• Comprehensive knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, and backsplash materials.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborators.
• Proven track record in managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
• Experience with high-end or luxury kitchen designs is highly preferred.
• Established relationships with builders, designers, or construction professionals are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
